Console Talkback Systems

Option 1
IFB Signaling
Utilizing the console cue speaker and studio monitors
Option 2
Intercom Speaker
Utilizing the standalone speaker and intercom card

Use the SH-TALENT (shown) or SH-GUEST or just a single 3-BUT (ON/OFF/INT) Panel to reply to talkback from the control room. Replies from the studio utilize the guest's microphone as the audio source and the control room console cue speaker as the destination

The standalone SPEAKER (shown) acts as a 2-way, hands free "squawk box" to talkback from the console to a studio or other location. Guests can initiate calls by pushing the top button.
Add the IFB option card (part # 14153) to allow the host to interupt the studio monitor feed to talkback to the studio. Thus, a 2-way conversion is established.

The intercom speaker requires the intercom option board (part# INTERCOM) for 2-way talkback to the console. The intercom option board supports up to 4 intercom speakers and utilizes the console 8-way selector switches for control. Hybrid consoles also require the logic option card to control the intercom card (part# LOGIC).
